From time immemorial, having a proper roof over his head has remained the most important dream of human beings. This was to protect him from the aggression of weather. Humans evolved different types of roofs over time. He moved away from caves to grass huts to wooden roofs to the latest roofing products. The basic need never changed … to perfect the roof over his head … to develop a roof which was able to protect the family from sun, rain, wind, fire and storm.
We at Pionnier understand that the roofing tiles we produce should meet all basic requirements like strength, water tightness and the ability to sustain weather aggressions like strong wind and heavy rain fall.
Over the last 7 years we have provided three brilliant tile profiles to the Indian customers. We were not afraid to move away from the traditional roof tile designs existing in India. Our roofing products make excellent roofs, not only functionally but also aesthetically.
In the last few years we have witnessed the influx of several roofing materials especially those from China. These products are imported by several importers/agents in India. Unfortunately this means that the manufacturer is not directly involved and hence not accountable for the quality aspects of the product. The fact remains that even now the concrete Roofing tiles and Clay (terracotta) Roofing tiles rule the world with a huge market share of above 95% in the roofing tile market.
Roofing tiles are considered to be a permanent roofing solution lasting several generations and not meant for just a few years. We at Pionnier value these principles and strive to provide the best roofing tiles in India – our tiles have a lifespan that outdates the lifespan of the building itself !
As a recognition of our continuous efforts to provide quality products, our Kasaragod plant has been awarded the ISO 9001 : 2008 certification in the year 2015.
We will continue to pursue Lean Manufacturing and innovative technologies in our three plants. It is a long term commitment of Pionnier to ensure Environment Sustainability in all our operations.
